Rim Locks - add one ounce over what you normaly use for that size tire to accomodate the additional weight of the rim lock. Two rim locks opposite each other don't require any more Dyna Beads other than stated above, as they have a tendency to cancel each other out.
Note:  Filtered valve cores do not fit all stems. They require a seat 1-1/4" down in the stem. If you cannot use them, simply rotate the tire so the valve stem is about the 6:00 position, then give the valve stem a quick shot of air prior to checking pressure.

Motorcycle Applicator Installation

1. First start by cutting the top of the bag
2. Next carefully pour the beads into the applicator bottle
3. Cut the end off the cap and install onto the Applicator
4. Thread the plastic hose onto the valve stem all the way down
5. Attach the bottle to the hose
6. Now the important part:

Slowly tip the bottle up until you get a slow, steady stream, don't rush it.
If you try to rush things, it will jam up. If it does, lower the bottle and tap on the valve stem until it clears, then start slowly again.
There is a way to eliminate the jamming and speed things up by using a vibrating tool, see farther on down.

Direct To Tire / Pour In Installation

This is the most common method for dealers and those who own their own tire changers.

• Coat only the tire, not the rim, with small amount of bead lube.

Inportance of this procedure is too important to leave it out. Also do not use Tire Changers that automatically coat the rim with mounting grease. Wipe the excess from the swab before applying to tire so none drips inside.

• Gently work the first tire bead down over the rim
• Cut the bag, lift the top edge of the tire, and pour the beads into the tire.
• Press down on the opposite side while the changer installs the second tire bead.
• This is important: Stand the tire up with the valve stem at the top.
• Apply the air to seat both tire beads onto the rim.

You're good to go!

Dyna Beads Filtered Valve Core

• While the filtered valve cores are an asset if they can be used, many motorcycle valve stems, especially the metal chrome or SS ones will not accept them. We have no way of knowing ahead of time which ones will or will not work. If you don't have the filtered cores, simply remember to rotate the valve stem somewhere around the 6:00 position and give the stem a quick shot of compressed air BEFORE checking air pressure. For 90° valve stems, always give it a quick shot of air before checking.
  
  
• Never mix bias ply and radial tires.
  
• Always mount the tire with the mark at the valve stem. (match-mounting)
  
• Never mix manufacturers or tire styles on the same bike.
• Always replace the tube when replacing the tire.
• Never patch a tube unless under emergency conditions.
• Never ride on a plugged tire. You only have two tires and one life.
• For a Dyna Beads install, check with your hands for any stickyness inside. Some manufacturers use a mold release agent that is sticky and would have to be wiped out prior to install.
• Rim Locks: Add 1 oz to the chart for use with rim locks.
• Never apply bead lube to the rim, only to the tire. See the motorcycle installation section section.
